tiles, or linoleum that is separated are signs of big problems.
The floor is right on top of the foundation. So anything wrong with the floor could mean the foundation is bad. It needs to be inspected immediately. A golf ball or tennis ball won’t roll when placed on a level floor. If it does, there is a problem.
WARNING SIGNS FOR A LEAK
These are a silent problem for older office buildings and commercial properties. There are plenty of warning signs you can look out for on your tour as well as during later inspections. Leaks can cause giant problems, whether they are big or small. If they are ignored or not found, they can cause expensive problems. I’ve seen buyers move into a property only to find out about a leak in a month or so, causing serious setbacks in their new office. Here are the warning signs for leaks.
Inconsistent Water Pressure
Cracks and holes in plumbing can lead to this. Test the faucets in the kitchen and bathroom during your tour. The property could be wasting a lot of water sellers aren’t aware of.
Damp Areas
This one is obvious. Damp or discolored drywall, ground, or ceilings probably mean you have a leak. This can be tougher to notice if you aren’t a professional. That’s why getting a proper inspection done is so important. If you see discoloring, the leak could also mean structural damage.
