Restrooms aren’t that overlooked since people think of them as key points, but they can be telling of the building’s overall condition. These are things to check off a list. You may even want to get a bid from a construction company for any work you may want done. All of it will be a major sticking point in your final choice.
LOOK FOR THE NATURAL LIGHT
This controls the mood, atmosphere, and your overall work environment. Poor lighting puts unneeded strain on employees’ eyes. The best office spaces will have windows that are set up perfectly to let in natural light. It doesn’t even need to be the right time of the day to see the natural light. That can be done at another time, just by one person. You could ask for photos but those can be made to look better than they actually are. It is true that artificial lighting can solve this problem if needed. Get some early estimates on that pricing, as adding better lighting may be what you want to do.
GUEST PARKING IS IMPORTANT
Depending on what type of area your space is in, parking may not be that abundant. You need to find out the exact number of spaces available to you. You don’t want your visitors to have to go through a hassle to find parking when they visit the company. That is a negative reflection of your company and will annoy them. It’s tough to create parking if there isn’t enough. That is a factor that should be thought about come decision time, especially if your company deals with clients and they visit often.
