The International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP), serving and educating home stagers and Realtors in North America and beyond, reports that staged homes sell for an average of 17% higher than the asking price. For higher-priced homes in cities like Montreal (Quebec), Toronto (Ontario), Calgary (AB), and Vancouver (B.C.), this could amount to a significant chunk of change. The IAHSP also reports that staged homes sell within an average of 11 days, spending almost 75% less time on the market than their non-staged counterparts. Even simple things can make a big impact on the final sale price of a home. Staging done well is one of those things!
