Some buyers decided that they might as well get the home of their dreams built on land where they wanted live, maybe out of the state to perhaps Florida, the Carolinas, or Texas where the weather was warmer. Tom continued to help buyer's until he was approached by a few friends of his to sell their homes so they could move south. This was a refreshing change for Tom. Now instead of looking for homes he could focus on marketing a home so that it is appealing to more than a few qualified, willing, and able buyers. Tom transferred to a broker office closer to his home and started a fresh new luxury/second home seller focus. Sellers liked Tom's attention to detail, honesty, hard work, and commitment to serving them so that they could sell their homes and continue on their journey to retirement or vacation on the lake lifestyle. This story perfectly sums up the kind of agent Tom Ceniglio is, and the type of agent he continuously strives to be the best informed resource for his clients. Tom was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what he did. And Tom worked hard to earn money as a paperboy riding his bike all over Green Manorville delivering the Journal Inquirer and collecting the weekly payments using a tear-off tab note card. He worked hard to earn his Eagle Scout award and also earned an appointment to Annapolis, the US Naval Academy. Tom wanted to serve his country but his parents did not want him to join the military at that time because the Vietnam war had just ended and they were concerned that another war. Tom was also accepted to Boston University, Boston College, and the University of Hartford. Tom chose the University of Hartford because it was closer to home and less expensive. He earned money at college working as a tour guide for the admissions office and also joined the US Army ROTC as a private since the Navy ROTC was too far away. Tom graduated with a BA degree in Psychology with a minor in Business. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US
