About Kathy
Kathy started out in real estate when she was 25 years old and an Air Force wife. She was looking for a career path that she could take with her as she moved around the states and one that she could schedule work hours around two young boys. Wow, did she get a shock when she began to realize what she got herself into. Soon after she started working, she realized she took the right path and began to LOVE her job! Thirty years later she looks back at all the successes she has had and a few mistakes she made along the way and chuckles. Agents are only human you know. She educated herself and changed as society and technology did. She dove into social media & websites with posts, blogs and videos with her "Grammy On The Go" platform. This gave the opportunity to share advise, inspiration and a few laughs with her past, present and future clients and customers. This story perfectly sums up the kind of agent Kathy is, and the type of agent she continuously strives to be for her clients. Kathy was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard. Kathy was born in Geneva County, Alabama and raised in Enterprise, AL until her marriage to a flight student at then Fort Rucker Army Base (now Fort Novosel). Kathy lives in Westville, FL just 2 miles across the Florida line at Samson, AL, with her husband Harold Alford and her Chihuahua/Pug, Barky. Her travels between her home and her office in Enterprise is where her "Grammy On The Go" campaign started.
