About Jonnell Jonnell was raised in Johnston with 4 brothers. As a child, Jonnell had aspirations of being a teacher. Never in a million years did she think she'd stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. She was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard. As the years went by, Jonnell worked her way from working in manufacturing to a sales and marketing manager in insurance, never wavering in her resolve to be the best version of herself with each career move. Jonnell moved into the real estate industry 5 years ago when she retired from the insurance industry. Her goal was to share her love and passion for real estate with others. She set out to get her license and learn the technical side of the business. As her career advanced, Jonnell found her stride working with family and friends assisting them in buying and selling their homes. As her business grew she used those experiences to work with other families, going through difficult times like divorce, loss of loved ones. Her expertise in these areas has set her apart from other agents in her area. Throughout her career, Jonnell, both in insurance and now real estate has learned to put her clients first earning her numerous referrals to her clients' families and friends. Jonnell lives in the Des Moines area with most of her family members close by. In her free time, she enjoys touring homes for
