About Chris Ford Chris's most recent sale prior to publication of this book was a small piece of land, about 1/3 of an acre. As a Pensacola native, his first home was the Dorr House, a beautiful post-Civil War era home on the National Register of Historic Places facing historic Seville Square. After serving 33 years in the Air Force, always calling Pensacola his home and returning at least annually to visit family, he finally settled down back in his home town. The Air Force instills 3 core values that he has practiced his entire adult life and brings with him to his realtor profession. Those core values are Integrity First, Service before Self, and Excellence in all he does. While promising to practice all three in all his interactions, he considers Integrity First as the most important. In fact, his Master’s Thesis was focused on the ability to teach people how to detect cues unconsciously revealed when one is being deceptive. Chris got into the real estate industry 11 years ago when he began investing in local real estate to build a real estate portfolio and generate rental income to supplement his impending retirement. His leisure time is spent mostly with his lovely wife, Janice, of 40 years and their massive family. His parents, 3 siblings, and three of Janice’s 7 siblings live in Pensacola.
