About Nene Akintan Nene was raised in Sapele with eleven siblings. As a child, Nene had aspirations of being a singer with long flowing hair like Diana Ross and dreamt of forming a singing group like the children in the sound of music. Never in a million years did she think she would stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. Nene was taught at a young age by her parents that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard. As the years went by, Nene worked as a banker and transitioned into entrepreneurship, never wavering in her resolve to become the best version of herself with each career move. Nene got into the real estate industry 20 years ago when she walked boldly into a governor's office and asked for an appointment to see him about a property that would be ideal for their liaison office. Nene sold that property and the rest is history. As her career advanced, Nene found her stride working with sellers, first time home buyers, investors, seniors, downsizers and manufacturers amongst others. Nene is an expert in Seniors real estate, negotiation, generational wealth building, and finding the best deals for seller and buyer clients/customers. Throughout her career, Nene has earned numerous accolades, including Royal LePage Diamond Award winner which represents the top 3% of REALTORS®;
