About Angie In my childhood, I spent summers tagging along as my grandfather went door to door collecting rent from his tenants. This was an all-day affair as every stop included neighborly conversations catching up on all that had transpired with family and community since the previous month. No tenant went without my grandfather's urging that they have a plan in place to own their own property sooner than later. From these conversations I learned early on of the importance of owning real estate and how to plan for homeownership. From planting roots for your family in a community to building wealth and ultimately legacy, real estate ownership is key. This is my inspiration for helping everyone become a property owner and where I learned to treat every client like family. Originally from Washington, DC, after over 20 years in technology, entrepreneurship, and teaching, Angie moved to Charlotte and finally stepped into a full time real estate career in the footsteps of her grandfather and parents. Her life experiences, along with her degree in Education & Human Development, have provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in educating clients, negotiating deals, effectively marketing listings, and navigating technology in her real estate business. She is a Certified Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and is also At Home With Diversity (AHWD) certified. Angie’s clients describe her as responsive, hardworking, honest, and a joy to work with. Angie has two young adult children, Anjelica and Chase Grant, and lives with her adopted four-legged child, Bailey. Several family members and friends followed her to Charlotte and she enjoys cooking and entertaining them in her home. She also enjoys Charlotte’s food and beverage culture, loves Charlotte's many outdoor activities and museum events, and traveling the
