About Nancy Cokinda With over 30 years full-time experience in cyclical real estate markets, Nancy represents her clients in buying and selling owner-occupied and investment properties throughout the Las Vegas Valley. She is a former high school English/Journalism teacher with an M.S. Degree in Clinical Guidance and Counseling. As a Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist, Nancy represents buyers and sellers pivoting in life due to divorce, death, downshifting. A Senior herself, she trains in classical ballet, and competes in senior Pro/Am Division in International Standard Ballroom. With husband George Yaghi, Custom Tailor, 40 year business in Las Vegas, they are long time caregivers for several community cat colonies in Historic Vintage Vegas, where they live. Nancy began her real estate career in sales and marketing for two of the top new home builders in Colorado Springs during the Denver area REO/Foreclosure days. She honed her skills in marketing and selling new homes in downturn and recovering market conditions, from production homes to individually built custom homes. A Broker-Salesman in Las Vegas, Nevada for the past 30 plus years, Nancy's varied experiences include marketing and selling for large and small home builders in subdivision close outs, navigating sellers and buyers through our local market cycles, and piloting sellers through market challenges, including probate properties, divorce sales, and downsizing in housing needs. While earning her Masters Degree in Clinical Guidance and Counseling, Nancy served in two internship capacities serving the social and housing needs of people impacted by life changes and having to re-route or re-build.
