About Tom Tom was raised in Portland, Oregon. As a child, Tom had aspirations of being business owner. Never in a million years did Tom think he'd stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. Tom was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what he did. And he worked hard. As the years went by, Tom worked his way from young Real Estate Agent, to Brokerage Owner, to a supremely experienced Principal Broker, never wavering in his resolve to become the best version of himself with each career move. Tom got into the real estate industry over 35 years ago when his then Professor of Sales & Marketing at Portland State University, Jack Taylor Jr, made a recommendation on his behalf to join a large commercial real estate brokerage in downtown Portland. Tom set out to learn as much as possible, as soon as possible, and was fortunate enough have worked side-by-side with several great real estate mentors during his early years in the field. As Tom's career advanced, Tom eventually found his stride working with clients in the residential home and investment sales market. Tom is an expert in marketing his seller client's properties to obtain the highest possible sale value, and in leveraging his buyer client's into the best possible purchase. Tom's advanced marketing and negotiation skills, along with his outstanding reputation amongst his real estate peers, unique abilities to communicate and work well with other professionals, and over three decades of successful business, are part of what sets Tom apart in giving his clients the ultimate advantages in reaching their goals.
