About Deanna I am an overcomer. And it is my hope that you can receive some comfort through this book by being given some direction. Divorce is hard. Divorce is life changing. I know, as I have been there. My twin boys were only 18 months old when my husband left us and decided he didn't want to be a family anymore. I sure wish I had been given a book like this to help me navigate those rough and uncharted waters. I lost everything (except my kids, thank goodness!) Our family home went back to the bank (long story but my ex husband put everything in my name, promised to pay support, then never did. This led to complete financial disaster for me that took 15 years from which to recover), the college funds and retirement accounts were somehow drained by my other half, and I literally had to rebuild my life from ground zero. Through these struggles, I learned so much and hope to help others along the way. If my suffering and lack of knowledge can be utilized to help you, then it was not in vain! Almost two decades later, I have made a complete financial recovery and restoration of what was lost in my divorce. I certainly don't want to ever go through that again, but I am grateful for my wisdom and have developed a real heart for others who are hurting from divorce. My kids are now in college, I am now in a career I love helping people just like you , and I am a proud homeowner of a beautiful home that I never thought I would be able to call mine. I love to show others the way and help if I can. So how does all of that translate to real estate? My spirit of tenacity and passion for what I do really serve my clients! I don't give up and will not be outworked! It is in my DNA to deliver. My attention to detail is what sets me apart.
