I would like to first thank you for reading my book. I'm very happy you are here. That tells me you are either ready to purchase a home or you want to prepare yourself for when you are ready. You are definitely in the right place as this book is intended to help navigate you through the home buying process. I hope you find that for each turn of a page, you discover something valuable. Second, I would like to make something very clear to you when you are ready to purchase your home. As real estate agents, our job is to make sure you are provided with the best possible housing solution that meets your needs and that you will be absolutely happy with. As a buyer, you will not pay the agent's commission -- unless a special agreement is made between a buyer and your broker's agent. In fact, generally, real estate agents for buyers are paid out of the listing agent’s commission. With that said, I’m hoping you can feel comfortable going forward with reading this book as this is no cost to you. It is my hope that you find value as a first-time home buyer or even if you purchased homes before. I am giving you the benefits of experience and advice; I have gleaned throughout my career selling houses and being in real estate transactions — for both sellers and buyers.
