About Diane Diane was raised in Dinwiddie County, Virginia with 5 younger siblings. As a child, Diane had aspirations of becoming a math Teacher (until she hit Geometry-lol)! Well after spending over 25 years in Retail Management & even owning her Own Bridal & Formal Business for 13 years; never in a million years did she think she’d stumble into the real estate industry as a career! But you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life! Diane was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she has always done...and she worked hard, putting herself through College at Virginia Tech! As the years have gone by, Diane worked her way from waitressing, to pay for college; to working in retail, beginning, as a Sales Associate all the way up to Store Management; never wavering in her resolve to become the best version of herself with each of her career moves. Diane got into the real estate industry in 1996, as a result of being forced to sell her own home before it went into bank foreclosure due to her x-husband not making the payments & he was living in the home...she did it herself as a FSBO & the rest is history! As her career has advanced, Diane found her stride in not only working with sellers who are facing struggles and trying to find a way out, like she had to; but, also working with the first time home buyers, guiding them through the process & helping them to understand the steps needed to get to where they wanted to be...In their DREAM HOME!
