PAYING THE COMMISSION ITSELF

The seller's agent commission and broker fee is paid for at the settlement period (the closing), by the seller. The fee and commission is taken from the proceeds of the sale of the home or the property. However, the buyer agent's commission, plus the broker fee, along with any other fees associated with the purchase, is paid at the closing (the settlement) of the purchase.
