the house was not sold. The only offers received were well below what they had paid for the house. I was referred to them at this point. After a lengthy discussion, I asked if they would be open to a loan on the house for renovations and split the profits. They both said yes. I was able to help them obtain a private mortgage for the renovation. The renovation was completed within three months for about $125,000. The home was listed for sale and sold in five days for over $300,000 more than they paid for it.
