Foreword When Connie Dickson reached out to us to write an introduction to her book, we couldn’t say yes faster. About one year ago, my wife and I decided our home was a bit too small for our growing family and furry friends. We owned a small home on a city lot in LaGrange and wanted to fullfill our dream of owning home with land. In addition to needing 4 bedrooms and acreage, we also had to remain the same school district as a requirement of my custody agreement. When we last bought my Aunt Connie was working for a title company and could only refer us to an agent. Now she was back working fulltime. We looked at the available housing but really nothing met our needs. We found a piece of property which Connie walked with us. As we talked Connie discussed the need to have our friend a builder look at the land and really dig into the cost to build. We ruled out building so we knew it would take a while to fine our forever home. Connie stopped over to our home and gave us few tips on what to do to sell. She gave us information and education on the home buying process. Things had changed since our last purchase. Connie continued for the next 5 months to keep us updated on the market. Yes, she is my Aunt but she always treated us with respect and professionalism.
