About W. Ronald Evans He is an Associate Real Estate Broker – at the Keller Williams—Preferred Properties office in Upper Marlboro, Md. for the past five years, and a seasoned real estate professional. Ron was raised in Buffalo, New York with an older sibling; while in school worked with his parents in the accounting office. He began his entrepreneurial activity as a child, seeking independence and self- sufficiency; even as he matriculated at Howard University. While still in school he began his involvement in the real estate business under the auspices of an older broker and investors in the business. He ventured out on his own as a broker; establishing participation with several brokers and the development of his own brokerage. He learned at an early age that if you want something in life, you must work for it. Ron worked at the auction end of the business as niche marketing effort to advance the efforts of others in areas that had not been established by others before. Ron was the First in the area working as a Certified Auctioneer, with other designations of Certified Estate specialist and an Accredited auctioneer of real estate. Still, he continues to pursue added accolades in the real estate business to further his position in the market place. Other activities included working for the U, S, Government at the Small Business Administration, The Department of Energy, Economic Regulatory Administration, and the Congressional Budget Office. Ron was the former President, CEO and Primary Broker for Capital City Enterprises, Ltd. as a real estate professional, an accredited auctioneer, and a personal property appraiser.
