This dilemma affects sellers, purchasers, and agents alike. This can be corrected!! Selling a property AS-IS has never been an option for my clients because of the immediate devaluation of their home and the neighborhood. As an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional), I know that paying attention to small details, can bring up to 10% return and at times much more. If my clients lack the resources for significant improvements, we focus on clearing, cleaning, decluttering, organizing, and staging. This extends respect to the prospective purchasers and increases my clients' property value. My clients are always well-prepared for the market. As my client, you will never need to list your property for six months.
