Liza Luna-Chan was raised in East Los Angeles. As a child, she had aspirations of helping her community and becoming a teacher. Never in a million years did she think she’d stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. Liza Luna-Chan was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did, graduating with a double major, Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge. As the years went by, Liza Luna-Chan worked her way from working in public relations to being a television news reporter, never wavering in her resolve to become the best version of herself with each career move. She was a teacher at Stevenson Middle School and was accepted in the master’s program for special education and completed her teaching credential. Then she quickly transitioned to substitute teaching to give herself the flexibility to pursue other ventures and still keep her feet wet in her passion of working with teens and pre-teens. Liza Luna-Chan got into real estate over 20 years ago when her mother advise her that real estate is one of the best ways to improve her lot in life. She was further prompted by many friends who assured her she has amazing negotiation skills. She set out to master social media platforms, and other innovative technologies to further develop her marketing and communication skills. As her career advanced, Liza Luna-Chan found her stride working with sellers in the San Gabriel Valley, Los Angeles areas,
