PROVIDING IMPACT FOR COMMUNITY WELLBEING Corwyn expresses the pride he feels in helping others follow through on their business dreams: Just over a few hundred feet and down the road, a quarter of a mile, there is a very large body shop and tow operation. I sold that property to that business owner. Initially, I helped them lease it. Subsequently, they purchased it. They are one of the largest, if not the largest operating body shop tow business in our area. They work on high-end vehicles like Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, and McLarens, but I'm also gonna see Chevys and Fords down there too. They cover the entire gambit. And to be able to look and say, you know what, it's not me. It's their business idea and all of that. I just got to play a very minor role, to be a part of that process. Some days I can drive by a house or drive by a business and say, I remember that. I remember before it was there. I remember now what it is, and I see where it's going. And that's the opportunity that realtors have to provide impact within. Because that's my word for this year, impact. To provide some type of ripple, to provide some type of opportunity for change, some type of opportunity for growth, for development. That is my word for this year. I'll share this: make it how you want it. A month ago, my mother, who started working here in the office, said, "Well, you know, they made it how they wanted." And that is it. We make it how we want it. If our day is not going as well as we want it to go, if we don't do anything, then we make it how we want it. If we suck it up, push through, and change the trajectory of that day, we have made it how we want it. That's the opportunity each of us has each and every day. If you're an agent or a broker, you're [reading] this, you have the opportunity to make it how you want it. You have to do something. We have the ability to have an impact and work to make it how we want it in our business, personal lives, and communities.
