MAXIMUM TARGETED EXPOS TED EXPOSURE
When you hire an agent, they can place your listing on all major real estate websites and portals, such as Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, and Realtor.com. Buyers flock to these websites to find new listings. Most sellers who don't understand the importance of exposure however are the ones who usually tend to avoid listing their homes with an agent or on the MLS, but also fail to realize that posting a For Sale By Owner add on Zillow for example does not show up with the hundreds or thousands of other properties that are being advertised as active or available for sale in their given area, because those are only properties that have been syndicated and listed through the MLS. A buyer will never see their ad or their home unless they physically search the drop down menus to actually go to the For Sale By Owner ad section, which a typical buyer will never do. That is thousands of missed eyes and views or exposure on their homes. An agent can not only get you on the MLS in front of thousands of agents in that local market who are working with qualified and already pre- approved buyers who are willing and able to put in serious offers, but also get a sellers property syndicated and on the front page of every major website listed above, along with their own personal dedicated websites, and their social media outlets as well. In the average month, Zillow alone captures 69% of traffic to real estate websites. When you choose an agent to sell your home, make sure that they offer the maximum targeted exposure to potential buyers through the online marketplace. Check to see if they are current with all techniques for online marketing and can provide the advanced technical services to help sell your home:
• Visual maps, such as Google Earth • Floor plans or 3-D floor plans • Video/Virtual tours • Updates on buyer activity through the agency
