The house wound up sitting on the market for another 12 months, finally selling for $15,000 less than the asking price. Not only was the seller out that money, they were also out of 15 months’ worth of costs for their mortgage, property taxes, insurance, utilities, and other general upkeep. As you can see, the difference between a good agent and a bad agent can be huge.
