I actually got hurt twice on the river journey. I decided to sit in the very front of the boat, didn't want to miss anything, right? Well the front seat provided an incredible up and down effect as we hit the class 4 rapids. On one of the rapids I lost my grip and the waves threw me straight up in the air and then down to the floor of the boat. I hit hard, oh my that hurt! Thank goodness it didn't throw me out of the boat, with the rough waves and boulders I would have probably drowned.
