An agent should pay close attention to your specific needs, and be quick to follow leads and communicate with you and others. Self-Motivated: How motivated is the agent? Real estate agents work on commission, and successful agents are self-motivated to work hard because what benefits their clients also benefits them. Tech-Savvy: Is the agent familiar with the latest technology for marketing homes, including a website, social media, user-friendly home-search options, and high-quality online presentations, etc.? Is the agent on top of online research? You might not be familiar with selling and buying a home using the Internet, as times have changed, so you definitely want your agent to be tech-savvy to guide you through the process. Tenacious: How is the agent’s work ethic? Successful agents are efficient and take advantage of any time-saving tools that help you.
