About Effie Effie got into the real estate industry 25 years ago while working at the telephone company and there was talk of downsizing and layoffs. She took her excellent customer service skills and translated that to the real estate industry. She always liked to go view homes as a hobby and felt guilty running the agent around to view the homes. She decided to become a real estate agent and the first broker she worked for was impressed on how she handled the conversation with a prospective seller. Effie was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard.
